Deuteronomy 6:1-9 Years ago there was a television commercial for a popular donut shop showing a rather sleepy baker who was so busy baking donuts, he did not know if he was coming or going. For 30 seconds, he simply muttered the same words over and over, “It’s time to make the donuts, I already made the donuts”, almost like a scratched record. How often might Christians have that same sentiment? Although everyone gets 24 hours in a day, it just never seems like enough. Just how should one balance work, children and God?
